While you are in Phoenix for the AAJ Winter Convention, join APA members and prospective members for this free event on how legislation across the country is threatening your medical lien business. From an analysis of the 2023 legislative landscape to existential risks facing the medlien industry, this meeting will feature collaborative content focused on arming your executives, sales teams, and regulatory professionals with the knowledge they need to be true advocates for your business, providers, and patients – through APA membership.

Open to all APA member organizations and prospective members, including medical providers and funding organizations. No press please.

Associate Director Leigh Maltby and APA Board Members will provide an overview of APA and its initiatives, including the roll out of APA’s Member Certification Program and Best Practices.

 

9:30am-10:00am – 2023 MedLien Legislative Landscape:  Why Your Engagement is Critical  

APA’s Legislative Chair Kim Halvorsen will discuss the 2023 legislative landscape, highlighting areas of risk and opportunity for the upcoming legislative session.

10:15am-10:45am Managing Risks to the MedLien Industry

 

As business owners and managers, are you armed with the latest legislative information to make sound business decisions? Is your business in alignment with your Providers? What are the asteroids that could extinguish the medlien industry – and how long do we have until impact?  The industry faces more and more challenges each day.  Join us to discuss these topics and what you can do to help protect your business.

APA is the only national trade association focused on preserving YOUR personal injury business.  We need you to help connect us with providers who will engage with us in state legislatures.  APA’s nation-wide advocacy efforts means that your providers and patients can continue to utilize medical liens for treatment.  Without the APA, our industry is at immediate risk – and without you, the APA is at risk!  We will provide you with a toolkit to discuss the value of APA and your organization’s involvement in it with your providers – teaching you to become APA ambassadors!
